The Big Bailout ((My Parents Place))

I was such a terror in my twenties my parents almost threw me out. They got everyone out of the house but me that night. Then they called me down to the dining room and asked me to sit at the table. They talked I listened and or tried to listen.

“A your father and I decided to get you a place, we know you’re not happy here”

I couldn’t speak, I could barely even  breathe, if I moved out I couldn’t survive out there. They continued their conversation bringing me back to the present though I did my hardest to escape.

“We’ll cover the down payment and the first months rent but you should be good after that”

I looked at them individually mom first then dad and said I’m tired, I’m going upstairs to bed.
