I smiled when I entered he was up front but he smiled before heading to the back.

I greeted the staff up front and requested a mask before running to catch up to him.
“Stop!!!”
“What’s up?”
“How are you?”
“Good”
“You know you’re the only reason I come early”
“Yeah right”
“Seriously”
“Working out’s great but seeing you’s a plus”
He smiled back at me but I could see his disbelief so I tried more convincingly.
